Proudly standing...

I did it, I did it - all by myself. Sorry this picture is a little blurry - my mommy took it. I stood all by myself tonight without holding onto anyone or anything. It only lasted maybe 10 seconds but it still counts. Now, if I could only put one foot in front of the other... I'll keep working on it. Hope everyone is having a good week. Look at me !!!!

Happy Tet !!! Yesterday was Vietnamese New Year. This year is the Year of the Dog. I'm a Rooster. This past weekend was really fun. My friend Piper, Aunt Hill, Aunt Meg and Aunt Lori came to play with me on Friday. Aunt Lori stayed for the weekend. We went to the swimming pool and had lots of fun. I miss her already. Weekends are too short...

I had a good weekend. Friday night started out pretty normal. I had dinner, my bath and then got in my pajamas. Mommy and Daddy took me to Starbucks. I fell asleep on the way there, we stopped at the video store to rent a movie, and I was still asleep on the way home. Saturday morning, we woke up to go to Jovie's soccer game. I spent the game watching Daddy and Jovie on the sidelines with Mommy, Uncle Aaron and Erich. Saturday night we went to dinner with the McGregors which was very fun. Then, we woke up Sunday morning and headed to Concord to meet my new friend Joel. He's really little right now but he was awake the whole time I was there. Then, I played with the Bopp Brothers and we stayed over for dinner. It seemed like I did a lot this weekend but I had lots of fun and I was a good boy. I'm already looking forward to next weekend - some of my Monteith Aunts are visiting and I think I'm also going to see my friend Piper. Hanging out on a Saturday afternoon

I can't complain...

I've had a pretty busy weekend. My Ba Ngoai/Ong Ngoai and Grandpa/Grandma came to visit me this weekend. I got a lot of hugs and kisses. I had lots of fun too. I also got to go swimming with my friends last week. I am getting better at sleeping - just getting up once a night for the last couple of days. And my top front teeth are here as well. On Sunday, our family was asked to pray with Pastor Ollis before Sunday service. Things are pretty good - Mommy and Daddy prayed for our family and our friends and we are so grateful for such the great life that we have - I just can't complain. Life is good even though sometimes "Spit Happens ! "

Swimmingly Happy...

Yesterday, the Bopps came over to watch the VA Tech Hokies play in the bowl game. Daddy hooked up our new tv over the fireplace and I even got to watch my new DVD on it that I got for Christmas too. Daddy loves the new tv - me too !!! Tonight, after dinner - we headed over to the YMCA for my first swim. It was lots of fun. I was a little nervous at first, but I got used to the water and then I couldn't stop splishing and splashing.

Happy New Year and Happy Birthday to me...

Happy New Year !!!! Today is also my 7 month birthday. Last night, we went over the the Bathgates for New Years Eve. It is a Bathgate tradition to jump into the pool to celebrate the New Year. So, of course Daddy joined Chris and jumped in the 40 degree water - Daddy said it was freezing. I'm glad I watched with Mommy. Today, we went to New Years lunch with the Bopps and I got to see Ashley. I missed her over Christmas vacation. Mommy and Daddy took me to the park as well since it was such a pretty day. So far, its been a really good year. Mommy and me.
