Happy 6th Birthday, Thomas

Dear Thomas,

This past year has gone past so quickly.

You started Kindergarten and it has been inspiring to see you learn how to read and write so well. Each
day you seem to get better and better.

Just yesterday, you finally figured out how to ride your bike. I have to say one of my favorite things to
do is to watch you learn how to do something new and achieve a goal, even a simple goal like snapping
your fingers.

You can swim now. You lost a tooth. You can play with Mommy’s Iphone.

The list goes on and on. You grow and learn more and more.

Always try new things and never get frustrated because something is hard.

Just stay focused and try again. Be positive and not negative.
All I will ever ask is that you try your best and treat people the way you would like to be treated.

Always know that I love you and I am proud of you.

Love,

Daddy

Dear Thomas,
Happy 6th Birthday dear Junebug. Another year of incredible memories that we have made with you since you turned five. You have 2 more days of kindergarten and you will almost be my first grader. And my oh my, what a year it has been. You have learned to do homework by yourself, you have learned to read books, you have learned to make new friends, you have learned what it’s like to be in a big elementary school, you have learned to adjust to whatever life has in store for you and just yesterday – you have learned to ride a bike without any training wheels. And through it all, I have been so proud of you. You are still playing soccer and scoring goals for your proud coach (Daddy) but you have also stuck with ice hockey and made huge strides in it and you have started to play bitty ball. You continue to be a friend to all, a loving member of our family and the very best son to me and Dad. In your last progress report – Mrs. Shaw wrote “Thomas is a great example to his peers, he excels in all areas academically and is a pleasure to have in class”. Thomas, we are just so proud of you.

I know that you can feel how much I love you because I feel all that love right back. I hope that every night when you close your eyes and every morning when you wake up, you feel as loved as you make me feel everyday. Nothing ever changes how much I love you or how I feel about you, no matter how many candles we need to put on your cake.
I love you with all my heart and thank God everyday that you are my son.

Happy Birthday dear JuneBug. Love, Mommy
