Growing up and starting new things...

I was on an airplane again this weekend. Yep, I went up to New Jersey for the weekend. It was great - I got to see lots of my Derrick family including Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle George, Aunt Marge, Uncle Bruce, Aunt Anne, Cousin Kris, Cousin Sydney, Cousin Alex, Cousin Tim, Cousin Beth and some of Aunt Marge's family as well. Uncle Mike got to spend the weekend with us as well. Everyone got to go to the METS game on Saturday night but I stayed with Mom since it was past my bedtime. Maybe next year I'll get to go to Shea. Today was my first day at co-op. Mommy took more pictures from this weekend and today but I can't seem to post the rest of the pictures, I will try again tomorrow. Pulled out the drawer and decided to sit in it - Can you see my boo boo on my forehead and nose? Last week I fell off a scooter and got those scrapes and I also skinned both knees running too fast to see Daddy after work. I think it hurt Mommy more than it hurt me.

Back on the Party Circuit...

Its been a fun couple of weekends since we've been home. Last weekend my Ong Ngoai and Ba Ngoai came to visit me. We got to celebrate Erich's first birthday. Then, my Grandma and Grandpa came to see me and stayed to play for a whole week. We had lots of fun while they were here. This weekend, I got to go to my friend Bria's 3rd birthday party. My daddy made birthday cakes for both parties. I've been keeping busy running around, using all my new signs - I can sign more, no more, doggie, help, please, thank you, milk, itsy bitsy spider and choo choo and I'm getting lots of new teeth. My one year molars are here !!!

My first trip to California

I had a really great vacation last week. The plane ride there was so much fun. I had my own seat, got to watch my favorite movie, read and eat snacks - what could be better ? I had a fun time meeting my California family - Chu Hai, Co Nga, Cousin Vivi and Cousin Jessica. Daddy and Mommy took me to my first professional baseball game at Dodgers Stadium. Lots and lots of fun - I really enjoyed doing the wave and the 7th Inning Stretch. After a few days, we headed up to Calabasas to see Aunt Kim and Uncle Brad - we were so excited because Uncle Brad proposed to Aunt Kim just 2 days before we got there. The next day, Daddy headed to Pebble Beach for his golf trip and we stayed in Calabasas to hang out. We went to Malibu Beach, the Long Beach Aquarium, some shopping and the highlight of the week - DISNEYLAND !!! Sunday night, we headed back to Irvine to hang out with the family again and headed back to LAX to meet Daddy at the airport. Then it all began..... our flight was delayed to Atlanta so we missed our connecting flight so we had to spend the night in the airport. Can you believe it? We managed to survive with very little sleep and made it home very early the next morning. All in all, I had a really great trip to the West Coast . Check out my pictures from vacation...

Back from Vacation...

Hi Everyone, Sorry its been a while since I've posted. We just got back from California and I am wiped out. It was lots of fun but I'm getting adjusted to the time difference ( again ! ) . Here are some pictures from before our trip. I will post all the pictures from vacation real soon.
